Helping One Parent at a Time

What You'll Learn

Each session is centered around learning a connection tool, reporting how the tools are working from the previous week, and problem-solving any parenting struggles that have been troublesome the week prior or any new question or concerns.

Our goal is to come to our children with connection as a way to strengthen the relationship and improve unwanted behaviors. We will focus on emotional projects and other behavioral upsets that are upsetting and unhinging, using the tenets of connection.

What's Included in the 1-1 Sessions

Support Material

You will be given support materials to better understand the nuances of the Peace and Parenting method. I'll teach you the brain science behind connection and the psychology associated with parenting in this way. Plus access to The Connected Parent Mastermind Modules for the full 90 days.

Bi-Weekly Sessions

Every two weeks we'll dive into what is sticky in your household, and we will personally help you find new ways to parent through those struggles. You'll learn a new method each week to build a connection with your child, and by the end, you'll have an arsenal of tools to move through sticky moments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this program right for me?

If you're stuck in yelling cycles, exhausted by daily power struggles, or quietly worried that punishments aren't actually working — yes. This is for parents who want cooperation, calm, and a stronger relationship with their child without resorting to fear-based discipline.

Common reasons parents start here:

- Tantrums and meltdowns that feel impossible to manage

- A child who pushes back on everything

- Sibling fighting that turns the house into a battlefield

- Bedtime, mornings, screens, transitions — the same arguments on repeat

- A growing gap between you and your child that you don't know how to close

What is connection-based parenting?

It's an approach built on emotional safety, attachment, and understanding what's actually driving your child's behavior — instead of just reacting to it. The Peace and Parenting method blends developmental psychology, brain science, and real-life tools so you can lead your family from a place of calm authority instead of fear, threats, or control.

What happens during a session?

Every session is built around your real life. We'll troubleshoot what happened at home over the past two weeks, refine the tools you've been practicing, introduce a new tool tailored to what your family needs next, and build a practical plan you can use immediately. You won't leave with theory. You'll leave with a script, a strategy, and a clearer head.

How is the program structured?

Sessions ideally happen every two weeks over 90 days, but we are flexible. The cadence is intentional — enough time to practice and refine in real life, with consistent support so you're never left figuring it out alone. You'll also get full access to The Connected Parent Mastermind Modules for the entire 90 days, so the tools we discuss are backed by deeper teaching you can return to anytime.

Do I need my child to be there?

No. This is parent coaching. The shifts you make in how you respond, regulate, and lead are what change your child's behavior — not the other way around.

What makes Michelle's approach different?

Most parenting advice tells you what to do without explaining why your child is behaving that way in the first place. Michelle teaches the brain science behind the behavior, so you stop guessing and start leading. Her approach is rooted in connection, but it isn't permissive — it's firm, clear, and built for the real world.

I've already tried everything. Why would this work?

Because most parenting strategies are surface-level techniques applied to deep emotional patterns, they don't hold up under pressure. This work changes the pattern itself. When you understand what's actually driving the behavior, you stop needing a new trick for every situation.

What if I lose my patience? What if I yell?

You will. You're human. This work isn't about becoming a perfect parent; it's about building awareness, repairing ruptures, and changing the patterns running your home on autopilot. Repair is one of the most powerful tools you'll learn.

Is this therapy?

No. This is parent coaching: education, strategy, and one-on-one support for parenting challenges. It's not a substitute for mental health treatment, but many parents find it deeply healing for both themselves and their families.

What age children does this work for?

All of them. The tools adapt to toddlers, school-age kids, tweens, teens — even adult relationships. Whatever age your child is, connection is still the lever that moves everything.

What results do parents see?

Less yelling. Less conflict. More cooperation. Children who regulate their emotions faster — and parents who do, too. Most importantly, parents tell us they finally feel like themselves again at home: calmer, more confident, and connected to their child in a way they hadn't felt in years.

How do I know if Michelle is the right fit for my family?

That's exactly what the discovery call is for. It's a no-pressure conversation where you share what's happening at home, Michelle listens, and together you decide whether 1-on-1 coaching is the right next step. You'll walk away with clarity on what's actually going on in your home — and a clear path forward, whether you join the program or not.

What Other Parents Are Saying

Hi, I'm Michelle Kenney

Parenting is challenging. The expectations and societal norms put an extreme amount of pressure that can leave us feeling depleted. I want to help you find more calm, ease tantrums and outbursts, increase cooperation, tame sibling rivalry, turn bedtime into joy, and overall, make parenting "feel" better.

I would be honored to help you forge the most wonderful and connected relationship with your amazing kids. An everlasting relationship that is reciprocal and respectful, all the while cultivating a calm household. You deserve to live in a home that is peaceful, and so do your beautiful kids.

I know firsthand how difficult it is to really understand and emulate this type of connected parenting. It has taken me years of practice and studying, but thankfully, you don't have to wait and struggle as I did. Let me help you help yourself to become a more peaceful parent.

There's no dress rehearsal. You have come to the final

performance, and now it's time to have your lines memorized.

Much love,

Michelle
